Redefining Beauty
Aluma Aesthetic Medicine specializes in advanced non-surgical facial treatments serving the Portland metro area.
What drew us to Aluma was their deep empathy and genuine care for their clients, you know the kind that really matters when you’re trusting someone to work on your face? They’re WHO I would trust.
In an industry often defined by sterile, predictable imagery, Aluma wanted visuals that felt unique to their brand.

The Making of Aluma
Challenge:
The beauty industry, especially within the aesthetic medicine world, is often portrayed through sterile, overly safe imagery AKA: Feathered tones, and predictable perfection. Aluma wanted something different. They needed social visuals that felt bold, artistic, and elevated to introduce their Medical Director, Dr. Nathan Brigham, with a stylized portrait. The second challenge was creating a step-by-step visual story of their PRF injection process that felt both educational and visually compelling.
Creative Direction:
Inspiration came to us while visiting their office. Soft daylight poured through diffused windows as tree branch shadows danced across walls. We decided to bring that natural energy into the imagery. Using Gobos and Aluma’s brand colors, we created abstract shadows and light play as a backdrop for the PRF process. For Dr. Brigham’s portrait, we highlighted his accolades in the background while suspending his favorite tools and materials in midair using plexiglass, giving the image a sense of quiet levitation and focus. Crediting his dedication to his craft, and on to his clients.
Outcome:
The visuals gave Aluma a modern and bold new presence. Dr. Brigham’s portrait became a defining image for the brand, while the PRF series drew strong engagement by making their process approachable and visually striking.
