Good Trip- Peru Magazine

Capturing a very groovy guide to Peru.

A Look Inside Good Trip

Two creative director friends came together to create a travel magazine that captured the spirit of Peru. It has everything from taking in the countryside, to flipping through vintage vinyl in hole-in-the-wall record stores.

After being published, the duo wanted a portfolio piece to showcase their creative collaboration and the stories they brought to life.

The Making of Peru

Challenge:
Most travel publications lean on the same glossy perfection. We wanted something that felt slower, more tactile, lived-in, and full of character.

Creative Direction:
We approached Peru like a living moodboard. Each scene highlighted the magazine as a focal point within a retro, sun-worn atmosphere inspired by Chris and Brian’s real trip. Pisco sours, Peruvian corn nuts, terracotta tiles, and grandma candy added nostalgic texture—like stepping into someone’s rad vintage apartment to hang out.

Outcome:
The magazine was featured in both the creative director’s portfolios to give a living curation of how it would feel if that magazine was sitting in warm retro room.
