Wrestle with Cupid V-Day Costume Ideas for Kids
This ones for the kiddos! There’s SO much fun to be had here. The same thoughts apply here as our adult costume ideas. But here are a few ideas specifically for them:
Adult Wrestlers have them dressed as the adult wrestling stars, like this mini version of those famous body slammers. Hogan is always funny too.
Let face painting to the work I know its hard to get the littles out the door wearing what you want, (or any clothes at all for that matter) so maybe the face painting can do all the work! Like this david bowie lightening bolt, or clown face.
Start their character with their favorite toy, sometimes their shy about getting in front of the camera so having a toy can be within their comfort zone. A sword, stuffed elephant, cooking pan, or even their comfy blankie can help pull their imagination out on set.
Go weird or go home, go with something off the wall like Sunny in Philadelphia’s Frank Renoylds “The Trash man”.
And last but not least, let them choose. If they want to be “nothing”, take a t-shirt, and write “nothing” in a black marker on the front. Or have them pose in their pj’s and say “six seeeevuuun”.
Remember its more about just getting them there, that in of itself, is a job well done. I’ll be there to capture the magic and make it fun.
